Welcome to House Cleaner Near Me. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and cleaning services. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

House Cleaner Near Me provides residential cleaning services through a network of independent cleaning professionals. Services are subject to availability in your area.

2. Booking and Scheduling

  • Bookings are confirmed via email or SMS notification
  • Service times are estimates and may vary based on property condition
  • Access to your property must be provided at the scheduled time
  • Cancellations require 48 hours notice to avoid fees
  • Late cancellations (less than 48 hours) may incur a fee of up to 50% of the service cost

3. Pricing and Payment

  • Prices are quoted based on information provided and may be adjusted based on actual conditions
  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged
  • We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and e-transfers
  • All prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes

4. Our Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If you're not satisfied with any aspect of your cleaning:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of service completion
  • We will return to re-clean the areas of concern at no additional charge
  • If still unsatisfied, we will work with you to find a fair resolution

5. Property Access and Preparation

  • Ensure safe access to all areas requiring cleaning
  • Secure or remove fragile, valuable, or irreplaceable items
  • Secure pets during the cleaning service
  • Inform us of any hazards, alarms, or special instructions

6. Liability

All cleaning professionals are insured and bonded. In the event of damage:

  • Report any damage within 24 hours of service
  • We will investigate all claims promptly
  • Valid claims will be resolved fairly through our insurance
  • We are not liable for damage to items not properly secured or disclosed

7. Recurring Service Terms

  • Recurring services continue until cancelled
  • Frequency changes require 7 days notice
  • Cancellation of recurring service requires 14 days notice
  • Prices may be adjusted with 30 days advance notice

8. Gift Certificates

  • Gift certificates do not expire
  • Gift certificates are non-refundable after 30 days or partial use
  • Gift certificates cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Remaining balances stay on account for future use

9. Referral Program

  • Referral credits are earned after the referred party completes their first cleaning
  • Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value
  • We reserve the right to modify or terminate the referral program

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false information when booking
  • Harass or mistreat our cleaning professionals
  • Request services that are illegal or unethical
  • Attempt to hire our cleaners directly, bypassing our platform

11. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service to anyone for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
